Community Guidelines & Code of Conduct

SterileAtlas connects the people who develop, manufacture, test, regulate, and commercialise medicines. That work depends on trust. These guidelines set the standard of conduct we expect from every member — companies, consultants, service firms, buyers, and staff. They complement, and do not replace, our Terms of Service. Membership is a privilege, not a right, and continued access depends on following them.
1. Represent yourself honestly
Present your company, credentials, and capabilities truthfully. Do not overstate certifications, regulatory approvals, inspection outcomes, capacity, or experience you do not have. Claim ownership only of a listing you are genuinely authorised to manage. Impersonating another organisation or individual, or operating undisclosed duplicate accounts, is prohibited.
2. Keep listings accurate and current
Your profile is how counterparties evaluate you. Keep it factual and up to date, and correct it promptly when something changes. Capability scores on the Platform are deterministic and rules-based — they reflect the attributes you list, so accurate inputs produce a fair score. Gaming a score with false attributes undermines the whole marketplace and is treated as a serious violation.
3. Verification and the verified badge
A verified badge is granted by the SterileAtlas team after a review of your organisation — it is a mark of trust, not something you can self-assign. Do not claim, imply, or display verification you have not been granted, and do not misrepresent what the badge means. We may withdraw a badge if the information it was based on is no longer accurate or if these guidelines are breached.
4. Engage in good faith (RFx, projects, and leads)
When you post or respond to an RFI, RFP, RFQ, brief, project, or job, do so with genuine intent. Respond to the requirements as written, provide realistic scope and pricing, and honour commitments you make. Do not use requests to harvest competitors’ pricing or IP, submit sham bids, coordinate bids, or solicit or offer kickbacks. Respect any NDA or confidentiality terms attached to an engagement or shared in a collaboration room.
5. Communicate professionally
Treat every member with courtesy — the same standard you would expect on a conference floor or at a trade fair. No harassment, discrimination, threats, or abusive language. No spam, mass unsolicited outreach, or repeated contact after someone declines. Messaging and video meetings are for legitimate business between the participants; do not record or share a meeting without the other party’s knowledge.
6. Confidentiality and data integrity
Documents, specifications, batch information, audit findings, and other materials shared with you on the Platform are confidential. Use them only for the engagement they were shared for, and never redistribute them. Because this is a GMP-regulated space, we hold a bright line on data integrity: never offer, request, or agree to fabricate, backdate, or falsify data, records, or regulatory submissions. Conduct that would violate GMP, GDP, GLP, GCP, data-integrity (ALCOA+), or applicable regulations has no place here.
7. Reviews and ratings must be honest
Ratings and reviews must reflect a genuine, first-hand engagement. Do not write fake or incentivised reviews, review your own organisation, coordinate retaliatory reviews, or pressure a counterparty to change or remove feedback.
8. Keep the Platform and its users safe
Do not attempt to breach security, scrape data at scale, circumvent fees by taking an introduced relationship off-platform to avoid marketplace terms, upload malware, or interfere with other members’ use of the service. Do not use the Platform to advertise counterfeit, diverted, or unlawfully sourced products or controlled substances.
9. Reporting a concern
If you see conduct that breaches these guidelines — a misleading listing, a bad-faith request, misuse of shared documents, harassment, or anything unsafe — report it to conduct@zentrum24.com. Reports are reviewed by the SterileAtlas team. We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who reports in good faith.
10. Enforcement
We review reported and detected violations case by case. Depending on severity and intent, the SterileAtlasadmin team may: issue a warning, remove or correct offending content, withdraw a verified badge, temporarily suspend an account or listing, or permanently remove a member from the Platform. Serious matters — data-integrity offences, fraud, security abuse, or anything that endangers patients — can result in immediate removal. Enforcement decisions are at our reasonable discretion; where an account is suspended rather than removed, you may request a review by replying to the notice you receive.
11. Changes
We may update these guidelines as the marketplace evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above, and continued use of the Platform means you accept the current version.
