Usage Policy

SterileAtlas is a discovery, comparison, and connection platform for the drug lifecycle — finding organisations, comparing them on stated capabilities, issuing and answering requests (RFI, RFQ, RFP, and briefs), and working with counterparties in messages, rooms, and meetings. Use it for genuine commercial, research, procurement, and professional purposes on your own behalf or on behalf of an organisation that has authorised you.

It is not a system of record for GxP data, a regulatory submission channel, a pharmacovigilance intake, or a place to store patient information. See the Compliance Policy.

You may browse and search the Platform normally, and you may use features we expose for automation. Beyond that:

• No scraping, crawling, or systematic harvesting of listings, profiles, contact details, scores, or search results — by script, headless browser, browser extension, or a person paid to copy pages by hand.
• No circumventing rate limits, authentication, pagination caps, or access controls, and no using multiple accounts or addresses to do what one account is limited from doing.
• No load that degrades service for others, and no reverse engineering, decompiling, or probing of the Platform other than as §10 permits.
• Automated clients must identify themselves honestly and respect robots.txt.

Individual records are here to be read and acted on. The compilation is not yours to take. You may not extract, copy, or store a substantial part of the Platform’s data, and you may not use it to build, train, populate, or improve a competing directory, dataset, lead list, model, or resale product — whether or not you charge for it.

Normal professional use is fine: saving listings, exporting your own data, quoting a profile in an internal shortlist or a report to your own management or client, and keeping records of your own engagements.

Contact information on the Platform is published so counterparties can be reached about real business, not so they can be added to a mailing list.

• No bulk, unsolicited, or automated outreach, on or off the Platform, to addresses obtained here.
• No selling, sharing, or exporting member contact data to a third party.
• Stop contacting someone who asks you to stop. Every outreach you send must comply with the marketing and privacy law that applies to the recipient (CAN-SPAM, GDPR/UK GDPR, and their equivalents).
• No recruiting a specific individual through a company’s listing channel when they have asked not to be contacted.

You are responsible for everything you post — listings, documents, messages, and responses. Do not publish:

• Claims about certifications, inspections, approvals, capacity, or experience that are not true. Overstating a regulatory status is the most damaging thing anyone can do here.
• Content you have no right to publish — a third party’s confidential information, trade secrets, or copyright material, or anything covered by an NDA you signed.
• Patient-identifiable information, clinical records, or any protected health information. SterileAtlas is not a clinical system and must not receive one.
• Export-controlled or classified technical data, or anything whose transfer would need a licence you do not hold.
• Malware, credentials, or anything unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, or discriminatory.

We may remove content that breaks this policy, and a listing that repeatedly does may be suspended. Correcting your own listing is always available to you.

Post and answer requests in good faith. Do not issue a request you have no intention of awarding, use one to collect a competitor’s pricing or methods, submit a sham response, or coordinate with another respondent on price, scope, or who will win. Competition law applies inside a marketplace exactly as it does outside one — see the Compliance Policy.

SterileAtlas is not a party to any engagement arranged through it, takes no commission on one, and does not guarantee any outcome. Contract terms, diligence, and payment are between you and your counterparty.

Collaboration rooms and video meetings are for the people invited to them. Do not admit somebody a host has not invited, share a join link outside the intended participants, or pass on documents shared with you in confidence.

Recording, transcription, or capture of a meeting requires the knowledge of everyone in it, and consent where the law of any participant’s jurisdiction requires it — several do. Do not record covertly through the Platform or around it.

Some surfaces offer AI assistance. They are labelled where they appear, they are additive, and they never compute a capability score — scores are deterministic and rules-based (see the Disclosure Policy). When you use them:

• Do not enter another party’s confidential information, personal data beyond what is necessary, or any patient data.
• Check output before you rely on it or send it. Generated text can be wrong, and it is published under your name, not ours.
• Do not use the features to generate false capability claims, fake references, or spam.
• Do not attempt to extract system prompts, bypass safety limits, or use the Platform as a general-purpose model endpoint.

An account belongs to one person. Do not share credentials, resell access, or exceed the seats your plan includes by circulating a single login. Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly if you think an account has been compromised.

Ownership of a company listing carries real power — editing it, archiving it, and asking for its deletion. Grant it only to people your organisation trusts with that, and remove it when they leave.

Do not test the security of the Platform without written permission, and never test with another member’s data or account. If you find a vulnerability by accident, stop, do not access more than the minimum needed to demonstrate it, and report it to legal@zentrum24.com. We will not pursue a good-faith reporter who follows that. Details are on the Trust & security page.

We would rather correct than remove, so the usual sequence is a warning, then the narrowest action that fixes the problem — removing a piece of content, unpublishing a claim, withdrawing a verified badge, suspending a listing, restricting a feature, and only then suspending or terminating an account. Serious cases skip the queue: fraud, security attacks, unlawful content, or anything that puts a patient or a product at risk.

Where the account being acted on holds a company listing, we act on the account, not on the company’s presence, wherever the two can be separated — the same principle that makes deletion of a listing require a SterileAtlas approval rather than one administrator’s decision.

Report inaccurate listings, misuse, or content that breaks this policy with the Report control on the listing or page, or by writing to legal@zentrum24.com. Tell us what you saw and where; we will tell you what we did.

We update this policy as the Platform changes and will note the date above. Material changes are announced to signed-in members. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
