Disclosure Policy

Every organisation record on SterileAtlas is in one of three states, and the difference matters:

• Compiled or illustrative. Assembled by SterileAtlas from public sources or created to populate a marketplace during build. Nobody at the organisation has confirmed it. Treat it as a starting point for your own research and nothing more.
• Claimed. Somebody at the organisation has taken ownership of the listing through the claim flow and is maintaining it. The content is theirs; the accuracy is their responsibility.
• Verified. The SterileAtlas team has additionally reviewed the organisation behind a claim. See §3 for exactly what that does and does not mean.

While this platform is in build, a large part of the roster is compiled or illustrative, and the footer says so on every page. Any figure you would rely on commercially should be confirmed with the organisation itself.

Unverified means no one at SterileAtlas has confirmed the statement — not that we believe it is false, and not that we believe it is true. We do not inspect facilities, audit quality systems, witness batches, or confirm regulatory status with any authority. No listing, score, or badge on this platform is a substitute for a supplier qualification, an audit, or a regulatory check that you are required to perform yourself.

A verified badge means the SterileAtlas team reviewed evidence that the organisation is real and that the person maintaining the listing is authorised to. It is a check on identity and authority. It is not a quality rating, an audit, a certification, an endorsement, or a statement about compliance or regulatory standing. It cannot be bought and it is not included in any plan. We withdraw it when the basis for it stops being true.

Scores across the Platform are computed by a fixed set of rules from the attributes on a listing. The same inputs always produce the same number, the rules are the same for every organisation in a marketplace, and no machine-learning model, ranking algorithm, or human judgement is applied to an individual company.

• A score measures breadth of stated capability, not quality, reliability, or fitness for your project.
• Scores are computed from what a listing says. An incomplete listing scores low; that is a data gap, not a finding about the organisation.
• Scores cannot be bought, adjusted on request, or influenced by a plan, a placement, or a relationship with SterileAtlas.
• A company that believes its score is wrong fixes it by correcting its listing — and the score recomputes from that.

No plan buys position on SterileAtlas. Paid membership buys seats, unlimited outreach and RFx posting, an AI allowance, larger meetings, analytics of your own profile — nothing that changes where you appear to somebody else.

• Directories are ordered by the sort you choose, by a deterministic capability score, or by name. Never by who pays us.
• We do not sell editorial coverage, comparison outcomes, search position, RFx invitations, or introductions.
• SterileAtlas may highlight a listing editorially — a new entrant, or one worth a reader’s attention. Where that affects the order of a list, the listing carries a Featured label, and it is never sold.
• Nothing, paid or editorial, changes a capability score, a verification badge, a filter result, or any stated attribute.

This section used to describe featured placement as a paid feature, because it was one: it was listed on every paid plan and granted automatically on payment. An audit of every ranked list on the platform then found that no public directory actually ordered by it — the ordering survived only on regulatory-coverage and analytics pages, where a subscription had no business deciding who is named first. We removed the ordering, took the claim off the pricing pages, and removed the machinery that granted it. Recorded here rather than quietly corrected, because §10 says corrections are stated.

By membership subscriptions — a free tier and paid plans, priced publicly on Pricing. That is the whole model today.

We take no commission on work arranged through the Platform, no success fee, and no payment for making an introduction, and we are not paid by any organisation to be recommended over another. If that ever changes, this section changes first and the affected surfaces are labelled.

Some features use large language models to draft, summarise, and suggest. They are labelled where they appear and they are always additive — a person decides.

• AI does not compute capability scores, matching results, or filter outcomes. Those are deterministic rules, which is why they can be explained line by line.
• AI does not decide verification, moderation outcomes, or deletion approvals. A named person does, and the action is recorded in the audit trail.
• AI output is a draft. It can be wrong, and it is attributed to the member who publishes it.
• Where a feature sends your content to a model provider, that provider is listed in the Data Processing Addendum.

Content on SterileAtlas, including scores, comparisons, summaries, and knowledge articles, is general information about a market. It is not regulatory, legal, medical, clinical, tax, or investment advice, and it is not a recommendation to engage any organisation. Decisions about vendors, studies, products, and capital remain yours, and the professional standards that apply to them are unaffected by anything published here.

Whether or not you have paid us anything, if your organisation is listed you can:

• Claim the listing and correct anything on it.
• Archive it — it leaves the directory and its public page stops resolving, immediately and reversibly by you.
• Ask for it to be deleted outright. Deletion is executed only after a SterileAtlas administrator approves it, so that a single compromised or departing account cannot erase a company’s presence and history against its own interest.
• Ask us to correct or remove something you believe is wrong, by writing to legal@zentrum24.com.

Requests about personal data — access, correction, deletion, objection — are handled under the Privacy Policy at privacy@zentrum24.com.

When we find that something published by SterileAtlas itself was wrong, we correct it and say that we did rather than editing it away quietly. Content published by members is corrected by them; where they will not and the claim is materially false, we remove it.

Report a suspected vulnerability to legal@zentrum24.com with enough detail to reproduce it, and give us a reasonable chance to fix it before publishing. Do not access or alter another member’s data while demonstrating it. We do not pursue good-faith researchers who follow that. Our current controls and their limits are on the Trust & security page, which also states plainly what is not yet certified.
